Description:

The Human Resources Officer is responsible for working as part of the Human Resources team to assist and support all aspects of the Human Resources function of Muiríosa Foundation.
Contract Duration - 1 year Fixed Term (2 positions available) 35 hours per week
Flexible location with regard to suitability for the candidate and the Director of Human Resources (Monasterevin/Tullamore). Hybrid working may be an option after 12 weeks employment.

Key duties iclude:

  • Maintain Human Resources online records on the various systems (Core HR, Rezoomo, NIMS and Adest).
  • Develop and run reports using our report writing system as required.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of balances for each staff member (sick pay, annual leave, public holidays, parental leave).
  • Responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process.
  • Provide guidance and support to management on employment, disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Provide Human Resources guidance to managers and their administration support.
  • Liaise closely with the payroll and pensions functions of the organisation.
  • Responsible for full administration function – leave, contract changes, NMBI, CORU, Driving Licence, Garda Vetting and occupational health referrals.
  • Ensure that files remain compliant as per HIQA requirements.
  • General administrative tasks including phone calls, system updates, preparation and checking contracts, correspondence, ordering stationery, opening and distributing post, upkeep of printers and scanners and other equipment.
  • Respond to general Human Resources queries.
  • Liaise with HIQA during inspections and with auditors and other personnel as required.
  • Support with system upgrades and new systems.
  • Maintain good working relationships with those you communicate with
