SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Human Resources Onboarding Assistant ensures effective and timely onboarding of all new hires, to include coordination of all new hire paperwork, employee records, and mandatory trainings. The position delivers a superior new hire experience by providing the highest level of customer service while maintaining quality. This is achieved by working closely with the Recruiting and HR Team. The HR Onboarding Assistant takes initiative to stay informed of and contribute to company-wide recruitment and engagement initiatives to promote our delivery of unmistakable quality, spectacular service, and operational excellence on a consistent basis.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

  • Experience using HRIS Systems, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver, and a team player
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
  • Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
  • Strong communication skills & professional demeanor

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Completes the onboarding process of all new hires, including initial follow up on new hire paperwork. Serves as first point of contact for candidate during this process.
  2. Coordinates pre-employment drug screen, if required, and verifies applicant has completed the pre-employment background check, follows up as needed.
  3. Creates new hire record in HRIS Systems and assigns mandatory training modules.
  4. Assists Recruiting team in processing working interviews.
  5. Communicates with HR team on any potential delays or items requiring follow up during preboarding and onboarding process.
  6. Collaborates with other departments, as needed, to ensure new hire candidates receive all equipment and login information in a timely manner.
  7. Tracks and processes bonus payouts related to recruiting efforts.
  8. Assists in responding to general employee inquires and escalates to HR/Recruiting subject matter expert as needed.
  9. Assists Recruiting with special projects as requested.
  10. Utilizes strong interpersonal skills to efficiently and effectively communicate with others and handles sensitive information to maintain confidentiality.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
