Description:
Rady Children’s Hospital is looking for a Human Resources Partner or Senior Human Resources Partner.
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides leadership and consultation designed to deliver best practice, strategic and business-focused HR solutions throughout the organization. Applies, aligns and balances the business and employee advocate function to ensure that high standards of service and commitment to leaders and employees are met consistently, add value and contribute to ongoing organizational success. Manages relationships, identifies proactive training and provides change mentorship that leverages Human Resources as a business enabler.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree
5 years of experience
Thorough knowledge of human resources best practices, wage and labor laws
Experience in project management, strategic and critical thinking
Proficient with PC office products and experience with HRIS
Experience with results-focused service provision
Demonstrated emotional and cultural intelligence
Employee/Labor relations experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree
PHR or SPHR Certification
Bilingual
JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior HR Partner formulates partnerships across the HR functions to deliver value-added service and contributions to leaders and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The Sr. HRP is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and leaders in designated business units, acting as a consultant to management on human capital issues. They will act as an employee and leader champion and an agent of change and seek to develop integrated solutions to business and HR needs. The Sr. HRP will maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position, people needs, business plans, culture and competing needs. Acts as a mentor and lead to compile metric-driven data to deliver best practice, strategy and results.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 5 years of experience as an HR Partner or leader
Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring and consulting
Experience leading business transitions, projects with organizational scope and change management
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, apply strategy to operational results and lead critical business operations
Strong Excel, Word and PeopleSoft skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
PHR / SPHR Certification
