Human Resources Placement Intern 2025
Location: Weybridge
Are you an undergraduate student studying Human Resources, Psychology or Business Management? If so, we have a 12-month placement available starting in July 2025. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
We are seeking a proactive self-learner with a passion for people who wants to become an HR Assistant at Sony Europe! In this role, you will craft and support initiatives and policies that help us attract the right people and develop and empower them once they’re working for us.
Throughout this 12-month paid placement, you will be given the opportunity to not only expand your knowledge and gain valuable transferable skills but also get an exciting insight into Sony’s European HR department. To support your personal and professional development and to shape your understanding of the impact of HR on an organisation, you will have exposure to the wider HR framework. Our HR Assistant role offers the chance to rotate across selected HR functions which may include Talent & Recruitment, Reward & Recognition, Learning & Development and Country HR.
Potential activities may include recruitment of two early careers programs (Placement and Graduate program), organising and leading training and development activities, data analysis and HR case management. These activities, and your unique view into the placement program as an HR intern will give you insight into how the employee life cycle looks like in practice.
You will work with employees across Europe to collaborate and assist with projects that will contribute to the overall success of Sony.

Our recruitment process
The job posting will be open until 10th November. Afterwards, the selected candidates will be asked to complete an automated video interview. In December, the best-performing candidates will be invited to an interview. We are aiming to finalise our recruitment process by the end of December.
Throughout the recruitment process until your start date, there will be regular catch-up calls with the program coordinators and current interns to answer any questions and provide guidance and further information on your Sony journey. This will also allow you to connect with the other future interns who will form the 2025 Sony cohort and start building your network. If you will need to relocate, this is also a great opportunity to find others in the same situation.

We have a staff car park which includes electric charging points, an undercover and secure bike rack, or if you will use public transport, we have a shuttle bus service that regularly runs between train station and the office at peak times.
