General Position Description: Provide full service recruitment for organization positions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma / GED Required with 4 years of recruitment experience. Bachelors degree preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (WITH OR WITHOUT ACCOMMODATION):

Normal office environment with multiple interruptions in person and through computer and phone. Travel to outlying sites, other locations and job fairs. Interacts with employees and members of the public on a daily basis. May lift normal office equipment and materials up to 25lbs. Visual acuity to read information from computer screens and forms. Able to speak clearly in conversations and general communications. Hearing ability for communication in persona, phone, and/or other electronic methods. Manual dexterity for typing and writing. Able stoop, squat, reach, pull, push, stretch, ascend and descend stairs, stand and sit for long periods of time. May be required to work additional hours or days depending on circumstances.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions. This includes but not limited to posting positions, reviewing and pre-screening candidates, set department interviews, perform any pre-selection testing, complete the onboarding process, and audit file for new hires.
  • Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings and match them with candidates.
  • Conducts and ensure all background checks and pre-employment checks are done prior to start. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
  • Sources, enrolls, and attends job fairs and recruiting sessions for positions across all assigned areas. Researches new posting opportunities, manage job posting, and advertisement processes.
  • Assists with new employee orientation and other trainings as needed. Provides general administrative and HR support as requested. Assists HR with audits as needed.
  • Enters employee data into HR systems, including both new hires and changes with accuracy.
  • Creates a positive experience with each candidate during interviewing and onboarding.
  • Participates in the process of ongoing professional development. Maintains comprehensive communication among all contacts within the agency, members, and external agencies. Models professional standards and ethics in accordance with EBF Code of Conduct, Strategic Plan, Mission, and Vision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
