Description:

- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources (or related field) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5-7 or more years of HR experience.
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, external regulations, and laws.
- Employee relations experience of at least 5 years.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Strong influencing skills and proven success in establishing credibility with business leaders.
- Experience working effectively under pressure to drive deliverables in short time constraints.
- Experience in training and development and change management.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
Responsibilities:
Sodexo Seniors is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support management and frontline employees at our prestigious account, Miami Jewish Health, in Miami, FL. Miami Jewish Health has an 80-year reputation for providing high-touch personalized care, customized daily activities, and soothing routines and comforting support. Candidate must be bilingual (English-Spanish)!
This position will be responsible for coordinating and implementing HR-related programs, policies, and procedures including compensation, benefits, performance management, talent management, diversity and inclusion, training and development, recruitment, employee relations, etc. Our preferred candidate will be a strategic partner with We are looking for someone with great experience in employee relations, recruitment, and retention. We have over 200 employees on staff at this location, and you will work on site M-F in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sound business relationships with management and partner, consult, and coach to help facilitate organization and cultural change.
- Provide counsel, guidance, and resolution for ongoing employee relations. Anticipate problems whenever possible, and develop, recommend, and initiate appropriate steps for resolution.
- Identify, plan, and ensure delivery of appropriate training for HR programs, products, tools, policies and/or procedures for Departments.
- Collaborate with HR members to support and/or manage projects as assigned.
- Identify and recommend approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve processes within the department.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, applicable laws, and help facilitate alignment with corporate philosophy.
- Manage/maintain records and reports necessary to comply with company, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations and codes.
- Respond to inquiries regarding HR plans, programs, policies and procedures.
- As requested, manage work required to support international assignees (e.g., visas, relocation, and onboarding).
- Other HR duties as assigned.
