Description:
Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a Cortland client of his that has experienced significant growth. This organization is looking to add to their HR department and find a Human Resources Specialist that wants a great company to work for with outstanding benefits and really good work life balance. In this role, you’ll do a bit of everything when it comes to HR so it’s a great position to have on your resume.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact for employees, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to drive the recruitment process, from job posting to interview scheduling.
- Accurately maintain up-to-date employee records to ensure efficient data management.
- Enter weekly 401(K) information from payroll reports into the relevant dashboard.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with employment and labor laws, ensuring all practices are legal and fair.
- Utilize the skills of ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HCM, Benefit Functions, Communication, Compliance, Employee Relations, Hiring Processes.
- Serve as a reliable source of information for employees, answering questions and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Exceptional Communication skills
- Current HR experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and adhere to ethical standards
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
