Responsibilities:
Be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for driving the sustainability agenda within Woolworths Group, including working to uphold respect for the human rights of workers within our supply chains. A key focus area of the role is the identification and mitigation of key human rights risks and supporting the Group’s response to the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act.
- Collaborate with internal teams, supplier partners and third party certification schemes to support in the delivery of the Responsible Sourcing Program and deepen understanding of human rights in the Group’s non-trade supplier chain
- Assist in investigating grievances raised by workers in the Group’s supply chain, in line with developed processes
- Support in delivery of benchmark responses and external disclosures
Identify emerging industry trends and best practise in disclosureSupport on corrective action and remediation efforts as they relate to zero tolerance or investigations for high risk suppliers
