Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree required, or
- Associate’s degree and completionof 6 months in the Human Subject Research Coordinator Traineeprogram required.
- 1 year of experience in human subject research coordination; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- The Research Coordinator must maintain eligibility to participate in research involving human subjects by completing the Human Subjects Protection Program (HSPP) and NIHs Good Clinical Practice training required. This position also requires participation in available cultural competency training required.

We are in search for a full time Research Coordinator for the Ashrafioun lab. We are currently work on a project aimed at improving social connection among individuals with opioid use disorder. Other subpopulations of interest include people at risk for suicide, other substance use disorders, and chronic pain. Were interested in increasing social connection and enhancing treatment engagement.
Primary duties will include helping with IRB and completing other documentation, subject recruitment, baseline and follow-up assessment, attending meetings, and data management.Candidate will subscribe to the departments goal of creating a culturally competent environment by treating research subjects and co-workers in a sensitive and caring manner.
