Description:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 1+ year hands-on experience with Computer Aided Design.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (ASSETS):
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Building Engineering.
- HVAC Engineering Design experience in Custom Air Handling Units.
- Knowledge of Inventor, REVIT software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish and /or French.
- Must be highly detail oriented and have strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be proactive and be able to work with minimal follow-up.
- Able to work in teams and contribute to process improvement activities.
- Must be able to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The qualified HVAC Engineering candidate shall be responsible to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering specifications, as they pertain to Custom Air Handling designs.
The applications of this highly configurable airside product are most often required for hospitals, airports, college/ university, industrial processes and datacenters.
Preparation of submittal drawings using the AutoCAD / Inventor / REVIT platforms will be a significant part of your daily tasks.
The successful candidate will be responsible to design for fabrication as per the submittal drawings and help assist the factory for successful manufacturing of the Custom Air Handling systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design of Custom Air Handling Units to meet project specifications.
- Prepare submittal drawings.
- Provide air handling product application designs.
- Assist Sales teams with technical support and design guidance.
- Develop and review engineering specifications to optimize key features and technical aspects of the product line.
