Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Installer to join our team. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential properties. Your expertise in HVAC installation and your attention to detail will ensure the successful completion of projects and the satisfaction of our customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- HVAC Journeyman
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer, with a strong track record of successful installations and repairs.
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC systems, including their components, installation procedures, and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and tight spaces.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
- Assemble, position, and mount HVAC equipment, including air handlers, condensers, furnaces, and ductwork.
- Connect electrical wiring and controls to HVAC equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Install refrigerant lines and perform pressure testing to detect any leaks.
- Insulate refrigerant lines and ductwork to ensure energy efficiency.
- Test HVAC systems for proper operation and make necessary adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including identifying and resolving issues with components such as motors, fans,
compressors, and thermostats.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining system operation, and offering maintenance advice.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including equipment installations, repairs, and inspections.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant codes and regulations.
