We firmly believe our employees are our best assets and we are committed to providing ongoing training and support to allow them to reach their full potential. We are seeking an ambitious and driven HVAC Manager to lead our HVAC Division and help us grow our expanding business.
Based out of our Delhi office the HVAC Manager will be responsible for managing multiple HVAC construction projects from quote to final payment. Duties required when responding to client HVAC requests include qualifying, pricing/negotiating, and managing projects from start to finish, including final close outs and invoicing support.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 313A or 313D trade license/designation strong asset.
- Valid G2 gas license (G1 preferred)
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of experience in the field or as an HVAC Journeyman performing service, maintenance, upgrades, and installations.
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid ‘G’ Driver’s license with clean drivers extract.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanically skilled project manager will schedule and manage leads and install crews, attend site meetings, mediate conflicts, and remedy site challenges all in pursuit of high-quality HVAC system installations.
- Read and interpret project plans and blueprints for customer communications on construction as well as interpretation and planning for site crews.
- Identify and develop opportunities based on customer’s needs.
- Consult and communicate with engineers, architects, vendors, subcontractors.
- Track actual costs against the estimate.
- Attend weekly management meetings Monday’s at 9:00 AM to review work order list.
- Schedule and coordinate teams and materials and conduct planning meetings with the team throughout all phases of the project life cycle.
- Develop, submit, and obtain approval of billing schedules with clients. Assist in accurate preparation and submission of invoices on time. Assist with collection of all payments, progress billing and holdback receivables on or before due dates.
- Submit estimates of construction projects as to the specifications as per client RFQ. Estimates are created to specification for the customer’s needs. We focus on pricing appropriately for the work required.
- Create Cash Flow projects and report to the Office Manager.
- Price, negotiate and process all change conditions and change work orders.
- Must be willing to travel with overnight stays company paid room and board.
