Description:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Fluent in English.
- 3+ years experience within the HVAC industry (sales or technical or after sales service), of which 1+ year in the local market (Ottawa / Northeast Ontario).
- Must have valid driver’s license.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS (NICE TO HAVE):
- Experience in HVAC outside sales with proven track sales experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
ROLE PURPOSE:
- If you are an experienced HVAC Sales Professional and love to hunt for new business while supporting an existing client portfolio this role is a great fit for you! This is the ideal role for those that are results-oriented and are adept at assessing and understanding both the immediate and future needs of customers.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain Sales Territory and Account plans where necessary
- Sell the full portfolio of Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions (i.e. service agreements, repairs and modernizations)
- Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunities.
- Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipeline
- Seek out or respond to repair opportunities
- Clearly articulate the value of Carrier’s value offerings and how they map to the customers’ needs
- Ability to detect the Customer’s buying stage and adjust selling accordingly.
- Responding to the customer requirements in a timely manner
- Ability to consistently achieve sales metrics and Annual Targets
- Effectively negotiate service agreement renewals when required.
- Ability to sell directly to end user customer.
