Job Type: Full-time/hourly
Total Compensation: $22.00 to $28.00 per hourly

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Working safely is our company’s number one business objective.   • Install heating and air conditioning units in accordance with company requirements and manufacture specifications
  • Install Duct work to industry standards and balance
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Ensure all installations of heating and cooling products (heat pumps, heating ventilation, and air conditioning) are completed in a timely manner
  • Abide to all company, city, state, and county code requirements while maintaining the highest level of customer service
  • Ensures complete protection of customer’s property during installation of product
  • Removes all old equipment from customer’s home and cleans up all areas utilized for the new installation
  • Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment to perform service to the equipment and/or mechanical system
  • Demonstrates and promotes a spirit of cooperation and teamwork throughout the company.
  • Continually looks for ways to improve our processes and ability to serve our customers effectively.
  • Continually strives to improve personal performance. Takes an active role in seeking training or other opportunities for growth and development.
  • Completes work orders, task lists and documents to verify work performed
  • Work in accordance with Federal, State, and Local Requirements
  • This is a “safety sensitive” position
  • Regular Attendance is an essential function of this job.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • HVAC installation experience preferred
  • Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work significant overtime as needed
  • Ability to follow appropriate industry specific regulations related to the handling of hazardous materials
  • Mechanical and electrical skills are a plus
  • Must have a strong work ethic
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels or organizational skills
  • Must possess good listening and communication skills, to include verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

  • Here at ASC, each pay period for payroll is the duration of 1 week. It begins on Wednesday and goes through the following Tuesday. All hourly positions here at ASC will be eligible for overtime, which includes any hours worked over 40 hours within the same pay period. Overtime also includes any time worked during a holiday or weekends (beginning at 12:00 AM Saturday).
