Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a leading Electrical & Mechanical Engineering contractor are looking to hire a HVAC Technical Assistant for their North Dublin projects.
The successful candidate will be required to provide general assistance to our Maintenance Technicians for all types of mechanical work to include the following;
- Supporting HVAC maintenance technicians in carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance
- Inspection, install and testing of HVAC plant and equipment
- Diagnosing problems and faults found while completing planned preventative maintenance
- Maintenance and repair of plant
- Organise & collect plant, equipment and spare parts when requested by Technician
- Liaising with Line Manager and other site workers to perform jobs as and when they are required in accordance with contract/agreed requirements and within agreed time limits
- Focus on maintaining quality while completing allocated work tasks within targets provided
- Working using your own initiative within agreed roles
- Maintain accurate worksheets and records/documentation associated with your work through company management system
- Meet targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Technical qualification would be desirable but not essential
- Requisite knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the HVAC Industry
- To be flexible and willing to work as part of a team
- To understand and deliver excellent customer service
- Strong work ethic with an ability to work on own initiative
- Full clean driving licence
- Safepass, Manual Handling and working at height training is desirable
