ABOUT THE ROLE

Looking for a change? Ready to step away from the tools and take your technical expertise to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a HVAC technician to join our team in North Lakes, Queensland as a Technical Service Engineer! This full-time, permanent role is a fantastic chance to contribute to a dynamic team while using your in-depth HVAC knowledge to support and troubleshoot technical issues for our Queensland and Northern Territory customers.
You’ll be based at Brisbane office in North Lakes, working under the guidance of the Regional Service Manager (QLD/NT), where you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service and technical support to our customers and partners.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Provide expert technical support for MHIAA air conditioning products across the Australian and New Zealand markets.
  • Assist the National Service Manager and Regional Service Manager with technical information, handling epidemic failure cases, and parts recovery.
  • Support Service Agents with spare part selection, technical service assistance, and commissioning support via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Work closely with service agents, contractors, and customers to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.\
  • Participate in, oversee and supervise site visits and on-site commissioning ensuring all projects are completed successfully and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate and explain control systems to end users and contractors.
  • Deliver technical product training seminars to both internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage and process Warranty Claim Orders (ACW), ensuring compliance with MHIAA’s warranty guidelines and Australian consumer law.
  • Attend, organise and contribute to annual technical training seminars for service agent networks as scheduled by the National Service Manager.
  • Conduct on-site visits as required, providing detailed reports to stakeholders.
