You will be part of the product group HVDC within Hitachi Energy, with your base location in either Ludvika or Västerås in Sweden. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and drive strategic initiatives aimed at transforming the Bid & Proposal Department and in line with HVDC overall strategy and vision.
- Build and lead a transformation team or task force to drive different change initiatives within Bid & Proposals by developing a strategic plan with clear objectives, timelines, and success metrics together with the Bid & Proposal Management team.
- Identify key stakeholders and engage them early in the transformation process. Communicate consistently with all levels of the organization to maintain support and momentum by encouraging cross-functional collaboration to ensure all departments are involved and aligned.
- Build mechanisms to ensure that changes are integrated into Bid & Proposal department’s culture and operations by Driving process optimization and automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish structures, governance, and accountability systems to sustain improvements long-term by evaluating transformation impact post-implementation to identify areas for ongoing improvement.
- Foster a culture of innovation and encourage teams to identify new ways of achieving goals.
