Are you an Architect with experience in Infrastructure, Cloud & Network architecture? Aker Solutions seeks a motivated Architect to develop our Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Network, Security best practices and develop, maintain enterprise hybrid cloud principles and architecture. Join our expanding team to meet the growing demands of our organization.
As a Hybrid Cloud Architect, you will play a crucial role in Responsible for developing and managing architecture for Aker Solution’s IT infrastructure comprising Traditional Infra, Public Cloud & Network. Supporting Aker Solution’s Digitalization initiatives, IT projects and ongoing operations. Ensure adherence to EA principles, information security and overall IT strategy and follow-up in implementation. This role will be reporting to Head of Infrastructure & Cloud.
Preferred Location: Norway

What will you be doing?

• Responsible for Infrastructure architecture (Traditional and Cloud Infrastructure & Network)
• Responsible for solution architecture in projects and initiatives (where participating as SA)
• Ensure adherence to EA framework and implementation according to approved architecture
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation and security standards
• Work closely with outsourcing provider to drive initiatives within the area.
• Work as Portfolio Manager for the systems and solutions within the area including vendor and contract management.
• Work closely with the Head of Infrastructure & Cloud developing strategies within your responsible area.

We think you should have:

Knowledge/ Skills:

• Understanding of trends in emerging technologies (e.g, integrations, cloud solutions, Security and Network).
• Understanding current and evolving cyber threat picture
• Understanding of how the cloud and workplace architecture and corresponding data flow creates value for the business
• Develop logical and detailed design documentation
• Deep technical knowledge and Good understanding and knowledge around Microsoft Infrastructure portfolio of products and Cisco solutions to cover the network area.

Experience:

• Extensive experience in secure IT cloud, Infrastructure & Network in large enterprises
• 7+ years of experience from IT solution architecture
• Experience working in outsourcing setup.
• Proven track record from designing and developing solutions in global/large organizations
• Experience from developing digital solutions, e.g. digitalisation of processes or new digital offerings

Educational background:

• University level (science) or relevant experience
