Overview:
To win new business and grow existing account spend.
Job Responsibilities:

The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following:

  • Develop and manage a specific territory, increasing sales, margin and market share as the primary objective.
  • Reactivate lost accounts and continually monitor customers spend who may be slipping
  • Identify new opportunities
  • Plan, organize and implement effective strategies using all company programs, tools and initiatives to increase market share.
  • Achieve objective when making calls to customer with relevant offer/enquiry details or confirming a face to face meeting.
  • Calls are defined as either phone based or face to face.
  • Successfully make required outbound calls building relationships with customers.
  • Keep all customer records up to date with an accurate description of the individual surgeries buying procedures, contacts and expenditure and other relevant information on Salesforce.
  • Upsell and cross sell on every order to increase both size and order value.
  • Achieve and exceed sales, gross profit and territory growth targets as set by the National Sales Manager.
  • Ensure that all reporting are done correctly and on a timely basis. All calls to be recorded and updated using SalesForce
  • Ensure that all communication to customers both written and verbal maintains a high standard both in presentation and content.
  • Work as necessary to provide optimum cover to customers during office hours. Attend staff meetings, training courses, exhibitions and seminars as required.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required

Job Skills & Experience Required:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following:

  • Educated to a high standard
  • Highly organised, able to work under pressure and detail orientated
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • High level computer skills and ability to use Microsoft applications
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience in working as part of a team
  • Previous customer service/sales or Dental experience is an advantage
