Description:

Hybrid SOC / Patrol Officer - 3rd Shift
Prosegur Security is looking for a Full-Time SOC/Patrol Officer, in the Sunnyvale area. These people selected will have a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills. Prosegur is one of the largest security providers in the world. We are looking for Security professionals who want to grow and develop professionally in our organization.

QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 18+ years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must have a valid guard card
  • Must have a Valid Drivers License
  • 1 year experience in SOC/Dispatch
  • 1 year experience as Security Officer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Capable of following complex instructions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to participate in the company’s screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures
  • At least 1-year prior Dispatcher experience
  • At least 1 year of Customer Service Experience
  • Computer Savvy

Responsibilities:

  • Write a detailed shift report of all incidents and calls for service.
  • Respond to Calls for service by taking the phone calls and dispatching the correct officer.
  • Address suspicious activity when observed on cameras in the dispatch officeWilling to learn new software and be able to work on your own and make sure you are handling all issues as fast and correctly as possible.
  • Responsible for receiving non-emergency telephone calls, accessing and manipulating video surveillance and access control systems, and coordinating responses to security and safety incidents.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and reporting to staff through the use of data available in time-sensitive databases. Additionally, they will generate incident reports for security and investigative purposes and act as a liaison between supervision/management and security personnel.
  • Monitor CCTV and access control systems.
  • Maintain knowledge of the location and the status of various security personnel.
  • Create accurate communication logs and accurately report incidents.
  • Make common sense decisions and exercise action during high-tension and stressful situations.
