WSP is seeking a qualified Hydraulics Inspector with a strong civil engineering background to join our team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will play a key role in the supervision and inspection of stormwater infrastructure projects, including drainage systems and open box culverts.
Your new role, what’s involved?
- Inspect and supervise the construction and installation of stormwater drainage systems, including open box culverts, to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Review and interpret civil engineering drawings, plans, and specifications related to stormwater infrastructure.
- Monitor the progress of construction activities, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Conduct regular site visits to identify and address any issues or discrepancies in the construction process.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical challenges and ensure the timely completion of the project.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, documenting construction activities, materials used, and any deviations from project plans.
- Ensure that all construction work adheres to local regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Assist in the review and approval of contractor work and payment requests based on completed milestones and quality of work.
