CONTEXT:

At John Cockerill H2, we consider Customer Support as crucial to empower our customers’ business, and develop long time partnership, by bringing the best solutions and services, securing safety, productivity, and efficiency of their operations.
Customer Support is a new organization preparing its operational start, building first 4 main pillars: people & competences, footprint, portfolio, and methods & tools, establishing the basics on which we will build and grow the future Customer Support business.
4 priority transformation projects have been identified, and one of them is to develop the parts business, including one critical offer which is the stack refurbishment, replacement, EOL (End of Life). As such, we are looking for a Project Manager who will drive this transformation project and once successful, take over the full responsibility of this activity on a global scale.

Responsibilities:

Not to do a long list of tasks, as this is a start-up approach for which the Parts Business Manager will create his own path with a high level of autonomy, here is a no exhaustive list:

  • Identify and qualify customers’ needs to formalize clear and aligned requirements.
  • Build the global parts distribution network, with internal (regional hubs) and external (suppliers) partners.
  • Implement the Parts Operations organization within Customer Support, with the right people at the right place, finding the correct balance between global and regional.
  • Develop partnerships with key suppliers, to guarantee the expected service level.
  • Optimize possible synergies with our future giga factories and JV.
  • Establish the end-to-end process, including the necessary tools to run it, order to delivery, including forecast.
  • Secure data management and accuracy, for documentation, pricing, and communication.
  • Develop an operating excellence culture within the global parts distribution network, just mentioning HSE, productivity and on time delivery.
  • Drive the implementation of the stack refurbishment, EOL & decommissioning policy, in cooperation with Manufacturing, Product Development and Sales.
  • Contribute to the offers built for the first customers’ projects.
