Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil has combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers’ counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Keep all areas of the factory clean and tidy, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
• Perform deep cleaning of machinery to ensure it is ready for production, including cleaning belts, hand cleaning, framework, walls, floors, ceilings and lights.
• Dispose of waste, sweep and wash floors, and adhere to PPE policies.
• Have effective communication with supervisors and team leaders.
• Always refer to the cleaning instruction cards for each area.
• Occasionally, wash down the production area, including floors, walls, belts, machinery, and tray wash, in compliance with production requirements.
