Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve financial, sales, and budget targets by controlling expenditures, analyzing variance and reducing the expense utilities budget and thus by initiates corrective actions.
  • Establish Objectives and Plans for continual improvement of the Hypermarket performance.
  • Control the Inventory, movement of stock, Spoilage, Damaged items, Return and Dead stock.
  • Close monitoring and ensuring complete utilization of Outsourced Services., like Pest Control, Cleaning, Maintenance, etc.
  • Ensure Hypermarket preventive maintenance is scheduled and performed periodically.
  • Ensure that safety and security are maintained and reporting all problems and hazards immediately.
  • Ensure Asset Management of UCS Property, equipment and material in view of its utilization and maintenance.
  • Report to GM, concerning any unresolved issues.
    -Liaise with HR, IT, Purchasing, Administration, and other departments to ensure availability of resources.
    -Review Hypermarket premises to ensure there is adequate space for car parking, shopping trolley, goods receiving and storage area and layout of the Showroom is as per UCS guidelines.
    -Ensure to provide highest level of Customer Satisfaction via customer counters availability, queue control, and check out time, product availability in terms of stock and variety.
    -Handle customer complaints for the Hypermarket and the related remedial and corrective actions.
    -Track shortages, stock-outs on a daily basis, and take the necessary actions.
    -Ensure good merchandising and layout in line with UCS guidelines and ensure appropriate stock rotation and mark downs.
    -Ensure the implementation and compliance with Hypermarket Policies within the Hypermarket and legal Requirements.
    -Prepare shift-wise workforce schedules.
    -Ensure Front line Employees are at their very best level of performance and customer expectation and understanding by providing the required facilities and for assets at all time.
    -Evaluate Staff performance and ensure learning and growth in all levels are provided and monitored based on Job Performance.
