Description:

DESCRIPTION

  • Ensuring all Form I-9’s are completed according to federal guidelines
  • Understanding and identifying various documents submitted with Form I-9
  • Following up with hiring locations to ensure I-9’s are received within the required timeframe
  • Monitoring SAP and providing notification to hiring locations and associates when their work authorization documents are expiring
  • Contacting Customer Service Team Leads, Dept. Managers, Store Managers, etc. when Form I-9’s are not received or completed timely
  • Answering questions related to Form I-9 and E-Verify policies
  • Generating reports from the I-9 database and SAP
  • Using the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services E-Verify tool to verify employment authorization
  • Keeping up-to-date with new employment authorization information
  • Working closely with the other I-9 analysts and the I-9 Team Leader on various employment related issues
  • Auditing Form I-9’s
  • Various other duties as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • One year experience working in Human Resources or an equivalent work related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service and associate relation skills
  • Ability to analyze information
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to prioritize work, work under deadlines, and handle a high volume of work accurately
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of phone calls
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
  • Good attendance and punctuality record
  • Professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently, with little or no supervision
  • Flexibility in job schedule (may need to work overtime (early or late) or weekends on occasion)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two years of experience working in Human Resources or equivalent experience in a related field
