REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree in Communications and/or Marketing or related discipline and/or related work experience
  • Event management experience
  • 5+ years of business experience in marketing and communications
  • 1+ years of experience at CN an asset
  • 1+ years of experience in information technologies an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML
  • Discretion and judgement; frequently trusted with confidential information
  • Resourceful collaborator capable of cultivating relationships at all levels of the company
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Well organized, self-starter, autonomous, works with a sense of urgency, creative and innovative
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, in both English and French
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Adapt and deploy the enablement plan for assigned I&T group(s) in alignment with I&T’s overall enablement plan;
  • Ensure the enablement initiatives and messages are deployed through the appropriate channels;
  • Assist the assigned I&T AVP(s) in enabling the adoption of the modernization strategy by defining and articulating key messages, in alignment with CN’s public affairs department;
  • Create VP and AVP specific packages and updates tailored to their modernization initiatives
  • Manage the logistics of VP and AVP specific events such as team briefs and coffee talks
  • Ensure deployments are delivered in a timely manner (respecting the overall calendar)
  • Responsible for end-to-end production of I&T’s technical and leadership reports
  • Responsible for content updates to the I&T SharePoint page, in collaboration with Public Affairs, including senior leadership and people manager intranet sites (governance, structure and methodology);
  • Organize internal events such as employee town halls, IT professionals day, leadership meetings and lunch and learns;
  • Manage the StandOut platform including the launch of Engagement Pulse surveys
  • Deploy the StandOut adoption plan
  • Manage the Bravo platform including distribution of points
  • Manage the CITO Awards process
  • Responsible for the operationalization of employee councils aimed at increasing efficiency by removing technical roadblocks
  • Responsible for gathering and packaging the feedback from employee councils
  • Work closely with team members to develop required reports based on KPIS and Metrics
  • Provide analytical support by creating and sharing regular and ad hoc reports as required
