YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • For Director - 10+ years FIC Institutional sales experience in a Tier 1 Investment Bank
  • For VP - 6+ years FIC Institutional sales experience in a Tier 1 Investment Bank
  • Client coverage experience focusing on a strategy-based sales model, prior experience in pitching new issues, trade ideas, and pertinent themes in Asia.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Fixed Income market and profound skills in structured products
  • A strong sense of how macroeconomic developments, be they slow moving or instantaneous, which are beneficially for the largest sophisticated investors and proven track record covering this client segment and deep knowledge across this product base (including their derivatives)
  • Entrepreneurial skills to prioritize resources to maximise outcome and value for client
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment and able to demonstrate the ability to navigate complex organisations
  • Advanced with respect to quantitative skills and have the ability to interpret business and economic data and assess the implications of both with regards to client requirements

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interacting with Trading on the FIC product suite, leveraging the success of the cash and solutions franchise to help increase our market share.
  • Responsible for partnering with FIC trading and structuring, as well as other sales colleagues within the team and within the product.
  • Acting as the FIC “product champion” and person to go to for the region and acting as the FIC “ambassador” based in Singapore.
  • Advising on clearing, collateral/derivatives-documentation
  • Helping with the development of more junior team members
