JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a seasoned IBM Maximo MAS8/9 Administrator and Practice Leader with a minimum of 10 years of experience to oversee and lead our Maximo practice. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in IBM Maximo, coupled with strong leadership and strategic planning skills to drive the success of our Maximo projects and initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Hands-on experience in Maximo Configuration and Customization.
  • Experience with Maximo Upgrade projects and familiarity with Maximo IT & Utilities.
  • Proficient in Maximo Administration skills, including WebSphere app server.
  • Knowledge of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS8) and RedHat OpenShift.
  • Proven experience as a Maximo Application Administrator, providing technical assistance and guidance on complex system implementations.
  • Skills in Maximo Integration with external systems/interfaces.
  • Experience with Maximo Configuration Migration using Migration Manager (preferred).
  • Customer-facing experience and support roles (preferred).
  • Exposure to Maximo Performance optimizations and troubleshooting (preferred).
  • Working experience with one or more IBM MAS Offerings (MAS Manage, CP4D, Monitor, Health, Predict, MVI).
  • Experience with RedHat operating systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as IBM Cloud, Azure, GCP, and AWS.
  • Knowledge of IBM Maximo Application Suite installation processes.
  • Experience with SSO, LDAP, and SAML configurations.
  • Proficiency in databases such as IBM DB2, MySQL, and Oracle.
  • Ability to collaborate with consultants and subject matter experts across internal and external teams
  • Flexibility to provide 24×7 support and work in shifts as needed.

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with Maximo Application Suite users.
  • Lead client discussions, presentations, and workshops to understand their needs and provide tailored Maximo solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
  • Experience with project management, client interactions, proposal writing, and providing architectural solutions based on customer expectations.
  • Involvement in pre-sales activities and creating business opportunities.

PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift and cloud technologies.
  • MAS8, Maximo 7.x/EAM, Maximo Integration Framework (WIF), OpenShift Administration, WebSphere Middleware tool.
  • Experience with Oracle, MySQL, and DB2 databases.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as GCP, IBM Cloud, Azure, and AWS.
