JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Programme Controls Manager to join our team at Moog Military Aircraft in Wolverhampton. Reporting to the Program Cost Management Director, this pivotal role involves overseeing programme cost reporting and scheduling for our UK and India Aircraft sites. As a subject matter expert in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Project Planning, you will play a crucial leadership and coaching role, interacting with Engineering Management, Programme Directors, and leadership teams across our Military and Commercial Businesses.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Accounting, or related field, with 7+ years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, programme management, and leadership skills.
Knowledge in cost management and scheduling concepts is critical
A subject matter expert in MS Project and EVM techniques.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities:

Oversee financial and schedule performance of programmes, including sales forecasting, cash flow management, and performance plan analytics.
Develop integrated master plans and schedules to support EVMS, with direct reports in Wolverhampton and Bangalore.
Coordinate with global counterparts to develop best practices and processes.
Provide technical direction and expertise in project planning, cost performance, risk, and resource management.
Lead the preparation of financial cost/schedule reporting and develop ad hoc reporting to identify financial trends and improve programme execution.
Mentor and develop the UK and India Programme Controls team, coordinating activities and resolving schedule conflicts.
Analyze major programme events and milestones and interpret performance data for senior management reporting.
