Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

This role reports into the Ice Cream Chief HR Officer (CHRO), core to the Ice Cream Business Group Leadership Team, and will be a strategic player in defining and developing the long-term HR strategic plans and objectives of the Ice Cream Company, as well as delivering the key priorities in the short-term with the team.
The main responsibilities of the role can be defined into the following 3 areas

  • Ability to thrive under uncertainty. High willingness to learn and adaptiveness to change.
  • Clear analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience in delivering results. Knowledge of the Ice Cream market dynamics is preferred.
  • Putting consumers first, the successful candidate is visionary and forward looking; able to retain a good balance between long term strategic thinking and attention to detail and business delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver through relationships at all levels of the organisation and available to act as a trusted partner and advisor to the team
  • Strong collaborative behaviours and able to build strong relationships.
  • Clear communication style and active listening skills.
  • Ability to complete tasks with a sense of urgency; An appetite for challenge, with a hardworking, tenacious attitude; able to flex as required due to changes to work plan / last minute demands .
  • Strong Passion for High Performance. High level of commitment to ensure effective support is given to the CHRO and the leadership team.
  • Strong planning & organisational skills. Accuracy and attention to detail in logistics and ensuring every event thought through fully and prepared in advance.
  • Resourceful in seeking out inputs from relevant experts and connecting the dots across the business, Unilever, and externally as a whole.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, understanding audiences, timing and connecting the dots in all channels.
  • Digitally savvy, able to leverage all technologies and resources available, being prepared to experiment and try out new tools to assist where needed.
  • Hunger to live the ‘’Ice Cream Way’’ (culture) and distil the right behaviours and ways of working throughout the organization.
