Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

The HR Lead for IC LATAM partners with Latin America’s business and is responsible for co-creating, leading, and nurturing the culture of more than 3,500 Joymakers across three corporate offices, four factories, and thirty-seven owned distribution centers. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Partner the LATAM IC LT and teams in Ice Cream BU:

  • From the HR Function, Lead the Ice Cream separation to a stand-alone business. Deploying the organizational design, finding the best talent for growth, and ensuring flawless change management.
  • Shape the People Agenda function based on LATAM business priorities while aligning them with the overall business priorities for our Business Unit through our IC Ways of Working.
  • Coach senior leaders and build an impactful leadership team by proactively designing interventions for managing team effectiveness and performance.
  • Partner with LATAM LT members to lead their teams to drive people’s agenda on talent, skills, organization, and culture.
  • Drive Talent to Value agenda across LATAM, focusing on attracting, developing, and retaining talent, building a solid internal and external pipeline, and succession planning (WL2+) in close partnership with the internal network and the market.
  • Use analytics and organizational diagnostics to lead organizational development interventions based on need, e.g., reducing attrition and increasing engagement.
  • Represent IC LATAM in Ice Cream BU, leveraging Unilever scale and consistency where appropriate.
  • Own the Overheads management/ Productivity improvement and support the GM and Head of Countries through optimized structure for effectiveness, efficiency, speed, and higher impact.

Contribute to the overall HR agenda for the Ice Cream BG:

  • Ensure the flawless essentials that are expected from the HR function in an End-to-end mindset, leadership, and approach. From hiring to retiring.
  • Working with the IC CHRO and HR Leads to support the strategy and deliver on the vision of Happy People for a Happy Planet, Winning Smiles.
  • Provide IC knowledge to inform HR initiatives and promote cross-functional collaboration and the inclusive and comprehensive implementation of people solutions (covering factories, offices, pilot plants, etc.)
  • Play a leadership role within the HR community by role-modeling the Ice Cream culture and standards and coaching talent in HR.
