Description:

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Attend and close Servicedesk calls within SLA timeframe
  • Manage, maintain, and support VoIP systems
  • Oversee printers/plotters company-wide, including reporting
  • Support and maintain SDWan (FortiGate, Sonicwall, etc.)
  • Manage Wi-Fi AP and controllers company-wide
  • Support Lesedi software applications (Engineering software)
  • Provide cloud support to end-users (e.g., Office 365)
  • Set up and maintain procedures, guides, and SOPs
  • Provide end-user training and induction
  • Assist with laptop/desktop lifecycle management
  • Manage network cabling and switch support
  • Oversee NOC dashboard monitoring and call logging
  • Monitor UPS functionality across all server room sites
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors for hardware and software support
  • Assist with server setup/management/maintenance
  • Support ICT Manager with site initiation and planning
  • Participate in DR testing as required
  • Provide monthly reporting and feedback
  • Maintain current ICT training to ensure optimized business support

QUALIFICATIONS

  • IT Degree or 3-year IT Diploma
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+
  • ITIL certification
  • CCNA or three years of Cisco/Aruba level switch management experience
  • FortiGate experience (Advantage)
  • Equivalent MCSA or MCSE (Advantage)

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Intermediate level experience in:
  • Servicedesk/Helpdesk and Application Support
  • VoIP, Printer, Network, and Server Support
  • Desktop Support (Laptop, Desktop, Printers, Networks, Office Applications)
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Multifunctional Printer support and vendor management
  • Experience with VMWare/Nutanix (Advantage)
  • Cloud services experience (Advantage)
  • Office 365 Administration (MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange)

KNOWLEDGE
