QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Extensive experience in IT transition management, service management, operations management, partner management or a related role.
• Proven experience in implementing new ICT solutions, particularly in a divestment/acquisition context.
• Experience in budget and cost management with a focus on business case development with respect to effective ICT solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to assemble, lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, resource management and talent acquisition.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and ITSM principles.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT service delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP (Project Management Professional), or Six Sigma are desirable.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The ICT Director will be responsible for the management of the transition to and operation of the Kerry Dairy Ireland ICT platform and landscape. Your role will involve the planning and management of transition programme to move Kerry Ireland to its own independent ICT platform and putting in place the structure, governance, team and partnerships required to operate this platform in a resilient and efficient manner to meet the business requirements of Kerry Dairy Ireland. You will play a critical role in ensuring that Kerry Dairy Ireland will be able to operate independently, efficiently and effectively on its future ICT platform.
