Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of experience in ICT infrastructure management.
- Proven experience managing NUTANIX infrastructure (Hyperconverged infrastructure, Prism, Acropolis).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure administration and cloud services.
- Familiarity with SAGE (ESS) and ERP systems (Maconomy) or similar enterprise applications.
- Experience with networking (LAN/WAN), virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware), and storage solutions.
- Certifications:
- NUTANIX Certified Professional (NCP)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
- VMware Certified Professional
- Certifications related to ERP systems (e.g., SAGE, Maconomy) would be advantageous.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The ICT Infrastructure Expert manages BDO’s ICT infrastructure, including NUTANIX administration, Azure cloud services, and enterprise applications like SAGE (ESS) and ERP systems (Maconomy). The role ensures high availability, performance, and security of ICT systems.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain NUTANIX, Azure, and enterprise applications.
- Virtualisation & Cloud Services: Manage virtualized environments and optimise cloud solutions.
- Network & Security: Oversee network performance and implement security measures.
- System Integration: Ensure seamless integration and support of SAGE, Maconomy, and other systems.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and test business continuity and recovery solutions.
- Performance Optimisation: Monitor and optimize ICT resource performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and reporting.
- Support & Collaboration: Provide technical support and mentor junior staff.
