WHAT’S THE OPPORTUNITY?

We are looking for an experienced ICT Manager to lead our infrastructure and support team, ensuring the stability and security of our IT environment. In this hands-on role, you will manage direct reports, oversee critical infrastructure operations, and ensure practices that maintain our ISO27001 accreditation.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Proven experience in managing and maintaining ICT networks and systems, with a strong technical background.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, including mentoring and developing direct reports.
Experience working with enterprise-grade technology solutions and systems.
Expertise in managing and developing communication systems within an organisation.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on IT operations and security.
Experience in the education or IT training industry is highly regarded.
Proven experience managing the cybersecurity aspects of a corporate environment, including incident and risk management.

Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Manage, maintain, and support the IT infrastructure and business systems, ensuring they meet company expectations and service level agreements.
Ensure the maintenance of ISO27001/27701 accreditation, manage regular penetration testing, and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning to protect the organisation’s assets.
Lead IT projects from inception to completion, including supporting M&A activities and IT service improvements, while ensuring seamless IT and business system project transitions into operations with proper knowledge transfer.
Engage with key stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs, manage vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery and value.
Develop and implement IT service strategies and technology roadmaps, providing detailed reports and forecasts to support decision-making and strategic planning
Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures including disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Prepare and manage the IT budget, including cost control and resource allocation.
Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect data and systems from threats.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
