We are seeking an experienced ICT Manager (Onsite) to provide strategic and operational technology leadership at a prestigious K-12 independent school. In this core leadership role, you’ll oversee a team of RTG onsite staff and remote resources, guiding them to enhance teaching and learning through cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the College’s senior leadership to ensure the technology infrastructure aligns with the school’s educational objectives.
- Develop and implement an annual technology roadmap and budget, ensuring seamless execution.
- Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring successful delivery and ongoing support, training, and operational excellence.
- Oversee operational procedures for managing the school’s technology systems, ensuring they meet and exceed service level agreements (SLAs) and experience level agreements (XLAs).
- Drive cyber security initiatives in collaboration with RTG’s Security Consultant.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, actively participating in RTG’s training and knowledge-sharing culture.
About You: We’re looking for a proactive leader with excellent stakeholder management and a drive to exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have:
- Comprehensive IT expertise covering service desk ticketing, escalations, and end-to-end ICT support, including:
- Windows systems administration
- Mail systems (Outlook/Exchange)
- Collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint)
- Enterprise security, backups, and LAN/WAN migrations
- Web technologies and VOIP (Voice over IP) solutions
- Experience managing the delivery of ICT support services, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- A strong understanding of cloud-based platforms such as MS Intune, Microsoft Office 365, Azure.
- Advanced problem management skills to ensure efficient resolution of technical issues.
- Experience in project management, particularly with Microsoft and Mac OS implementations.
- Previous experience working for a managed services provider is advantageous but not essential.
