QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant qualifications in Information Technology / Engineering or the equivalent.
  • At least 2 years experience as an ICT Technical Support specialist.
  • Experiences of, and certification with Leica TPS/GPS products.
  • Experience in working with Leica related software and hardware.
    SALARY: Base : $80,000 base + 11.5% superannuation

Responsibilities:

As a Support Technician, you will report directly to the NSW Geospatial Manager and be responsible for the following duties:

  • Analysis of hardware and software requirements and issues in relation of Leica suite of products
  • Provide Technical support and troubleshooting for software related issues
  • Conduct software inventory and license management
  • Collaborate with Survey Team for software needs and implementation solutions
  • Preparation of equipment including leasing with Service Department for pre delivery check and software installation
  • Undertaking troubleshooting evaluation, testing and rectification as required
  • Support customers with technical inquiries
  • Liaising with clients, direct, phone and email
  • Record keeping, quotes and assist with data recording
