Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst will be responsible for operating and optimizing IAM tools and processes to ensure security and compliance for the organization. Their primary responsibilities will include operational activities and project execution related to single sign-on, authentication/MFA, identity governance, privileged access management, and secrets management. The successful candidate will be committed to continual improvement, taking better and smarter approaches to cybersecurity, including IAM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of IAM tools, including provisioning, de-provisioning, role management, and access requests.
- Implement and support single sign-on (SSO) and multifactor authentication (MFA) solutions to improve user access security.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance identity governance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IAM systems, identifying and resolving access-related issues.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of access controls and identity management processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise on privileged access management and secrets management tools.
- Support IAM-related projects, including system upgrades, integration efforts, and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IAM processes, workflows, and system configurations.
- Provide accurate and timely architectural recommendations to management for decision making purposes by analyzing current systems and processes to understand the system
- Stay updated with IAM industry best practices and emerging trends to proactively improve organizational security posture.
- Work cross-functionally with IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure IAM solutions align with business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in Identity and Access Management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IAM technologies, including single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and identity governance tools.
- Familiarity with privileged access management, secrets management, and other security-related technologies.
- Experience with IAM systems such as Okta, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of Enterprise Architecture within a retail IT landscape.
- Understanding of security compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or IAM-related certifications are a plus.
