Description:

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Educational qualifications: Graduate in Computer Science/ Statistics / Economics / Analytics
  • Minimum of 15 years of overall experience with hands-on experience in managing & delivering across the decision science continuum (with focus on advanced analytics & AI)
  • Minimum of 3 years hands on experience in AI - driven decision making (experience in consumer & digital analytics is a plus), preferably in FMCG companies
  • Minimum 5 years of team management experience. Exposure to designing & building large teams would be a plus
  • Good communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas & solutions is a must
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office would be vital
  • Delivering in ambiguous & dynamic situations as a part of a global multi-functional team by building partnerships & working diplomatically
  • Ability to drive innovation & knowledge sharing
  • Acting commercially and in a consumer centric way
  • Strategic thinking and prioritization skills are a must

Responsibilities:

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible for designing, building & managing a set of Data and advanced analytics products that are aimed at providing competitive advantage to BAT trade, consumer & digital teams globally. The role involves working closely with teams of Business Analysts, data scientists, data management professionals & domain experts to deliver advanced analytics solutions while creating business value. The role would also develop strategic partnership with leaders in the domain while also creating solutions & products which are cross-functional & cutting-edge. The net results of these activities would be to instil a Digital DNA within the company while making data the most valuable & impactful asset.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Building a credible, stable and well managed decision science & data management organization specialized in AI, Generative AI, and advanced analytics.
  • Delivering across the continuum of decision science (dashboards / visualizations / Advanced analytics / AI / GenAI / models etc.) while achieving assigned targets & performance metrics;
  • Acting as the strategic partner & consultant to senior stakeholders of the domain both in IDT & business
  • Enabling adoption of the latest tools, technology & concepts in delivering outcomes
  • Creating deep engagements with support functions to ensure seamless delivery of optimal solutions
  • Driving a culture of knowledge, innovation, energy, fun & business value thereby creating an enviable DRA brand within the company
  • Ensuring compliance to various standards of data, privacy, visualization & ethics
  • Embodying the Data & Analytics culture and ways of working and strive to constantly work towards creating a better D&A brand within the company
