Description:
IFA ADMINISTRATOR
Due to exceptional business growth a new opening has arisen for an efficient and detail orientated IFA Administrator to join a Financial Planning and Investment firm. This organisation has not only built a reputation for putting their clients at the very heart of what they do but also being a hugely supportive and collaborative team.
Note candidates who have started studying towards their RO certification or CII qualifications preferred. In addition the role offers the opportunity to progress your career into a Paraplanning position.
Salary c.£25-32K depending on experience plus benefits which include being part of an Employee Ownership Trust and quarterly incentives
Key responsibilities for the IFA Administrator include,
- Input client details onto an in-house system
- New business administration
- Liaise with clients for new business information, Terms of Business, tax returns
- File checking for completeness
- Liaise with product providers (e.g., for valuations, trusts, product terms)
- Help advisers with meeting preparation, new client packs, agendas etc.
- Supporting the Investment Proposition as necessary
- Involvement in wider company projects as appropriate
The ideal IFA Administrator will need,
- A background in Financial Services/Paraplanning preferred or a desire to enter the IFA industry
- Ensure all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis
- Respond to client contact and requests quickly and correctly
- Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes and ensure relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Have a supportive and collaborative approach
Note that candidates with previous/recent financial services administration experience ideally in client/advisor support will be considered.
