Description:

We require a knowledgeable and self-motivated Information Governance professional with recent comprehensive knowledge of Information Governance preferably in an NHS environment. This role will support the delivery of IG services across Frimley ICB.

An Information Governance Consultant is responsible for the delivery of specialist Information Governance advice with a focus on national and local developments to enable compliance with the Data Protection Legislation (Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulations 2016) and in addition, application of the Caldicott Principles along with all associated aspects of confidentiality and security.
The role is designed to ensure successful delivery of the Data Security & Protection Toolkit and Framework in the NHS. The post may require travel to other SCW and customer sites if required.

Lead on information governance matters relating to SCW partners to ensure that tasks/projects are planned, managed and delivered effectively.
Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation and evaluation of tasks and projects by providing high quality information governance support including complex information and analysis, communications and stakeholder management.
Be a key member of the Information Governance service as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management
