The Opportunity:

Avantor is currently looking for an iLab Research Technician to join the growing team in Mölndal, Gothenburg! The iLab is a prototype of a fully automated medicinal chemistry laboratory. As a Research Technician, you’ll support the iLab team in transferring chemicals into the prototype system. Are you interested in working in an international and innovative environment? This role will be a full-time, temporary position of 12 months, based at our customer site, AstraZeneca. You get to work in a state-of-the-art laboratory!
Working hours: Monday - Friday, flexible start time between 6:00 - 9:00 and finish time 15:00 - 18:00

EXPERIENCE:

• Lab experience is required, this can be as a Lab Technician, Lab Assistant or from internships
• Experience in Chemistry or working with chemicals is a great asset
• Knowledge or experience in automated liquid handling is a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good MS Office knowledge, mainly with Excel
• Excellent communication skills in English or Swedish
• Willing to take on routine tasks
• Flexible, able to work bot independently and in a team
• Social, organized and customer oriented
