Responsibilities:
- Implementing operational plans to meet goals and objectives and financial targets of the portfolio.
- Maintaining provincial oversight while leading teams for information management and systems transformation
- Assisting clinical programs with information management requests for the purposes of information collection, audits and quality review for health outcomes across NS Health.
- Ensuring information management best practice in accordance with provincial/federal legislation in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act and Personal Health Information Management Act.
- Leading staff located across the province. Travelling as required to multiple locations to support and strengthen the team
