Description:
To produce correspondence, reports, minutes etc. to a professional standard and in a timely manner, using audio and copy typing, standard templates and creating ad hoc documents as necessary To update spreadsheets with GP and consultant details as necessary. To ensure a robust system exists to provide important information to clinicians. To support the Assistant Service Manager in producing weekly performance reports and statistics for the department.
At all times the post holder should use their judgement, knowledge and experience to monitor situations within the department. To undertake personal training and development as appropriate in order to develop professionally and to contribute to improvements in the service. Competent in the management of personal workload prioritising important and urgent tasks in order to meet both directorate and personal deadlines Frequently required to respond quickly to interruptions from managers, clinicians and team members, resulting in the need to reprioritise workloads. To develop, maintain and update NMQR database, SOP policy database, organise schedule of IRMER talks, liaise with MPE to organise MEC/RPC meetings, take minutes of such meetings.
To be the point of contact for all administrative duties pertaining to radiation protection regulations/legislation. To assist the General Manager and Operational Manager when required with any administrative tasks. To attend monthly meetings recording actions and preparing minutes taken at these meetings, tracking progress and liaising with staff to ensure actions are being carried out in a timely manne
