QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, preferably in an imaging or radiology setting.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and imaging procedures.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Imaging Department Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our expert team. As an essential member of our Imaging Department, you’ll be assisting radiographers in a variety of diagnostic procedures, from X-rays and MRI to CT scans. You’ll play a key role in supporting our patients throughout their imaging journey, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Assist radiographers in delivering high-quality imaging services.
• Ensure imaging rooms are prepared, clean, and fully stocked.
• Help patients feel at ease, supporting them through their procedures.
• Keep things running smoothly by managing bookings and patient lists.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control.
