Hours: 37.5 per week
Shifts: 7.5 hours Monday – Saturday with some on-call participation

Salary: £31,000 per annum

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, preferably in an imaging or radiology setting.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and imaging procedures.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Imaging Department Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our expert team. As an essential member of our Imaging Department, you’ll be assisting radiographers in a variety of diagnostic procedures, from X-rays and MRI to CT scans. You’ll play a key role in supporting our patients throughout their imaging journey, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Assist radiographers in delivering high-quality imaging services.
- Ensure imaging rooms are prepared, clean, and fully stocked.
- Help patients feel at ease, supporting them through their procedures.
- Keep things running smoothly by managing bookings and patient lists.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control.
