SUMMARY

To support various preclinical imaging related research projects within the NeuroCare program. Performs technical duties in accordance with specific protocols for imaging related research projects. Position work schedule may necessitate occasional modifications for tasks such as training, team meetings, equipment repairs, and availability of scan time.

REQUIREMENTS

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or related field.
Preferred Education: Master’s Level Degree
Certification: None
Preferred Certification: AALAS Laboratory Animal Technologists Certification, Laboratory Animal Technologist (LATG) from the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) within 180 days of eligibility. Any employee hired or rehired after September 1, 2012 must possess required certification
Experience: None.
Preferred Experience: Five years of research experience with imaging equipment.
