Description:
DETAILS
- Department: Diagnostic Radiology
- Schedule: Part Time Evening Shift - 32 hours per week. Rotating weekdays and every other weekend.
- Week A: Mon (10:00PM to 6:30AM), Tues & Thurs (6:00PM to 6:30AM)
- Week B: Tues (6:00PM to 6:30AM), Fri & Sat (9:00PM to 7:30AM)
- Hospital: St Francis
- Location: Milwaukee, WI

REQUIREMENTS
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Radiology Technician obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- High School diploma required. Graduation from a JRCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology preferred. Bachelofs Degree preferred.
Work Experience:
- Previous work experience as an Imaging Tech preferred.
Responsibilities:
Take radiologic films providing quality images to physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.
- Prepare and position patients for x-rays and selects exposure factors accurately.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity.
- Monitor protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Prevent patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.
