Responsibilities:
As an IMDS Coordinator, you will be the key interface for our International Material Data System, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards across our supply chain.
Your role is critical in managing data, supporting local and global users, and coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Ensure all materials and substances used in our product through its complete supply chain comply with relevant regulations and standards
- Stay updated on changes to regulations and adjust practices accordingly. Participate on IMDS Board meeting
- Prepare KPI reports about the progress and prioritization of open IMDS entries
- Check if MDS modules for different projects are according to the latest regulations and standards. The outcome shall be reported to the co-departments
- Report if an MDS is missing from a project
- Work with suppliers to ensure they provide necessary material data and comply with industry standards
- Work with internal Co-Departments and Central Quality and provide a clear description and explanation about a potential IMDS issue or flaw
- Educate team members and suppliers on regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure ongoing compliance and awareness
