Description:
Our client, an internationally recognized professional services firm has an immediate opening for an Immigration Law Clark in their Toronto office. This position will play an integral role within the immigration department and offers opportunities to grow within the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting company support letters and legal submissions for U.S. and Canadian immigration and labor agencies.
- Researching current processing requirements at service centers, consulates, etc.
- Organizing and preparing submissions for various government petitions and applications.
- Monitoring expiration dates, setting reminders, and meeting deadlines.
- Communicating and working efficiently with clients and team members from various firm practice areas in the Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto offices.
- Assisting in the client intake process and responding to client inquiries through email and telephone.
- Performing various administrative duties including organizing and managing files, tracking deadlines, photocopying/faxing/scanning, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a U.S. or Canadian Immigration Law Clerk (or closely related position).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
