Description:

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Fluency in English (and additional fluency in Spanish is preferred)
  • 2+ years experience in risk management and/or data analytics
  • Expertise in BI Solutions (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Carbon market expertise, including experience in carbon market data, relevant quality concepts (e.g. additionality), and carbon project documentation
  • Established knowledge of quantitative analysis techniques and familiarity with common quantitative tools (Sheets, GIS software, SQL, Python)
  • Good research and writing skills
  • The ability to explain complex issues and present technical information clearly

Transactions take place between corporations and project developers at the source, without any middlemen or hidden fees. CEEZER achieves this by providing scientific quality and pricing insights that help buyers and sellers interact, while allowing them to monitor credits in a balanced, high-quality portfolio.
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Impact Manager (f/d/m) with a focus on nature-based projects, who will be instrumental in shaping our supply-side strategy, focusing on sourcing and onboarding high-quality carbon projects for our platform. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting our science-backed risk screening to ensure our supply quality.

YOUR TASKS

  • Identify high-quality nature-based carbon projects by thoroughly analyzing the carbon market
  • Proactively outreach to, engage, and onboard relevant nature-based supply partners to enhance our project portfolio
  • Evaluate the quality of carbon projects and communicate any gaps or areas for improvement to project developers
  • Identify risk drivers in nature-based carbon projects and formulate recommendations to mitigate risk
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, such as assessing project documentation, scientific literature, news reports, reviewing and modelling formulas, time series data, and geospatial data
  • Establish, nurture, and expand relationships with project developers to ensure continuous collaboration and mutual growth
  • Collaborate with our product team to identify and resolve project developer pain points, ensuring our product meets their needs
  • Work towards achieving key performance indicators and analyze supply-side data to inform our strategy
  • Act as the project expert in buyer discussions, supporting the sales team in creating high-quality portfolios
  • Forecast and monitor carbon market trends for nature-based solutions that influence risk perception and evaluation of carbon projects
